I was referred to Rudy through a colleague, and from the very first meeting, he and Bunmi made me feel enthusiastic and welcomed. I came in with a clear (albeit daunting) goal which was to pivot from the clinical space into the pharma industry and corporate world. Rudy hit the ground running, walking me through my resume and laying out the possibilities available to me in a way that made the transition feel not only possible, but exciting.
I enrolled in the 90-Day Job Search Program, which was incredibly comprehensive. It included LinkedIn optimization, a LinkedIn networking toolkit, and interview prep and guidance for every stage of the process — from the initial recruiter call all the way through to final round interviews. The interview coaching was the most valuable part of the program for me. Rudy always ensured I was thoroughly prepared, providing detailed interview packets that included background on my interviewers and anticipated questions and answers tailored to each opportunity.
One moment that truly stood out was when I became discouraged about pursuing medical writing. Rudy told me I was good at it, but I wasn't ready to hear it at the time. Despite the call backs I was receiving, I wanted to explore a different direction and Rudy listened. He let me come to my own conclusions and supported whatever path I chose. I always felt like I had a voice throughout this process, and that meant a lot to me.
My confidence has grown tremendously. I now feel at ease in interviews, I know how to research companies effectively, I can speak more confidently to my own abilities, and I understand what types of questions to expect at each stage of the interview process.
I would 100% recommend Rudy to anyone navigating a career transition. The program is comprehensive and stress-free (while still holding participants accountable). I didn't have to apply to a single job, research a single company, or look up a single interviewer on my own (though I did apply to some roles independently using the tools from the LinkedIn packet). Everything was handled. Beyond the structure of the program, the ongoing peer support was invaluable. I could schedule a check-in at any time, be it for a progress update, a change in direction, interview prep, or a debrief after a call. Rudy was consistently available and invested in my success every step of the way.
